Moon is Going Genre Crazy!

Moon Bloodgood has landed two new roles in high profile action movies. The first is in the upcoming "Street Fighter" remake of sorts. Yeah. Based on the video game. Yeah. There already was one that nobody liked. Yeah. Nobody even plays that game anymore. But in any event, she's in it. My eleven year old quarter popping self is reeling with joy but he might be the only one.

Also, rumored to be on her plate, is a costarring role in the upcoming fourth "Terminator" movie. It's called "Terminator Salvation" and stars Christian Bale as the grown up John Connor. Moon will be playing a "battle hardened member of the resistance." Sounds like my ex-wife! Da dum dum.

No but in all seriousness, a round of applause for MBG everybody!

Help Save Journeyman!

Journeyman is a fine piece of genre television and the powers that be at NBC are thinking of canceling it! Really, it's a great show. If you haven't checked it out yet you should go to NBC.com and watch some episodes. Also, head on over to http://savejourneyman.net/ and learn about efforts to save the show.  Do the right thing NBC!

All-Star Jamboree

Our favorite sci-fi heroine attended an NBC All-star party recently in Los Angeles. She hobnobbed with the stars of other NBC shows, like the cast of "Heroes." Unfortunately, this is not 1988 so Ted Danson and George Wendt were not in attendance. I think Soleil Moon Frye was caught by bouncers trying to sneak in though. Poor Punky. She never did get over that cancellation.

Here are some photos of MBG at the event:

Sam Beckett returns, sorta

Moon returns to television this fall in the NBC time travel drama "Journeyman." It stars Kevin McKidd as a guy who bounces through time trying to set things right. Yeah, so it sounds like Quantum Leap big whoop. You know what Quantum Leap didn't have? Moon Bloodgood. It had Dean Stockwell, and no offense Dean, but I do not want to sit in a hot tub with you. There there Dean. It's ok. It's ok.

The show also reminds me of that book "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. That book also features a guy bouncing through time trying to set things right. Who are these lucky bastards that get to bounce through time so much? We are stuck in the here and now! Booooooring.

Anyway, here is a preview for the show. Watch for a midriff sighting:
